Division of Student Success

At most universities, student life and academic services are distinct units with different goals and priorities. At the University of Hartford, the Division of Student Success takes a holistic approach, recognizing that student success is based on a unique blend of academic, social, personal, and professional needs.

Our Offices, Centers, and Support Services

The Dean of Students office is where you can find Aaron Isaacs and the DSS executive team working one-on-one with the multiple offices that complete the Division of Student Success. Our division prioritizes the student experience at UHart with the support of student clubs and organizations. Whether you are facing academic, personal, or health issues, our team will connect you with campus or community partners. Our team can help you report a concern related to hate and bias, sexual assault, and student conduct.

The advisors at the Center for Student Success are dedicated to providing guidance in areas such as academic support, first-year advising, mental health and wellness, study skills, financial questions, and more.

UHart is designed so that individuals with diverse interests and passions can find their stories alongside one another. Students can explore new clubs and organizations, Greek Life, multicultural programs, student government, religious organizations, community service, commuter association, and more.

We are committed to the physical and mental well-being of all members of the campus community. We offer many services, including important medical care, specialized services, Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), Public Safety, Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution, and more.

The Recreation Department offers various sports-related activities and other fun programs. Take a break from academic work to meet new friends, compete in a friendly atmosphere, and stay healthy.

Academic Success

Visit the Tutoring Center in the Lower level of Harrison Libraries for support with your next math, biology, or chemistry assignment.
